The AMA is a membership body supporting approximately 1,700 members who are all working to bring art and audiences together. They work at all levels within the arts from student to CEO; they work in all art forms – theatres, galleries, museums, arts centres, touring companies, cinemas etc.; and they are based in all four countries of the UK.
The AMA offers a range of professional development opportunities to help members develop skills, ideas and best practice in marketing and audience development. This includes an annual conference, day events, workshops, master classes, residential programmes, a programme of online learning events, networking events, a quarterly journal, books, an extensive members-only website, mentoring, coaching, etc.
